Ashiatsu

Ashi " translates to foot and "Atsu" into pressure. Ashiatsu Therapy, is a barefoot massage technique in which the therapist delivers deep, broad, consistent pressure while utilizing their feet and body weight. Working with gravity instead of against it, Ashiatsu provides an effective therapeutic massage without causing pain or discomfort to themselves or the client. Cream or oil is applied to the clients body making this massage relaxing and rejuvenating. Parallel bars and a strap are used above the massage table for balance, support and client safety.

Ashiatsu is performed on the posterior (back) side of the body with stretching and neck work on the anterior (front) side of the body This will leave you completely relaxed and feeling wonderful! It also eliminates soreness that often accompanies routine massage practices, you know... the pointy elbows and fingers.
